I'm Back!

Finally done with the big move....at least for now, just done getting settled. The biggest problem for me was how expensive everything was to move. Drained all our spare "mad money" as the wife calls it. Which basically means all my poker money is first to go. Well that IS why i do it.

So needless to say my poker accounts were drained by the move, I have no real extra money to drop right now, probably could spend some loot really just don't want to. I saw the Chris Ferguson 0 to 100k challenge and got really intrigued.

For those of you that don't know about it, He started with nothing but a Free Full Tilt Poker account. He then played nothing but free tournaments until he had 10,000 dollars, it took him almost nine months. However I noticed once he made enough to enter any games of value, 2 dollar or more his bankroll started climbing rapidly. So I'm gonna try this challenge but I'm gonna cheat a little, I'm going to start with ten bucks and see where it gets me. Maybe I can replenish my account with only 10$.

There has been no poker in my life for a few days. Last time I played was with my buds on full tilt for free. Been in the middle of a move so hope to be settled soon!!

Schedule Conflicts

The whole week has been one big scheduling conflict. No poker, no time! Have narrowed it down and think I may have the answer for the problem we were having with finding a nice free site for all of my friends to get together on. We mostly all play on a few sites anyway and we decided to play on "Full Tilt". It's a great site, very US and Noob friendly. Their Play Money feature is just what we were looking for.

The best thing about Full Tilt is they have only a 10$ minimum when using a visa. Hopefully my buddy will get over his fear of online buying and drop a few bucks so we can really gamble. As far as US friendly and ease of use this site is an A-plus. I've been on Full Tilt for a while and have always been happy with it. We are thinking about starting our own tournament on there....invite only of course. That's another benefit, scheduling your own private tournaments. Well I will definitely keep you posted.

Quick sit and go winner!

Logged in real quick in a 1on1 sit and go for some cash. Won 10 bucks in like 4 minutes into game. He went all in on nada and I won with a pair of jacks. Weird night. The Sportsbook account is gettin big again, almost thinkin of a payout check soon:)

Bounty Tournaments

I have been playing bounty tournaments all morning on Absolute. Just call me headhunter!! My favorite new strategy is to just sit back and wait for the opportunity to strike. Taking out other players gets you cash instantly so even if you don't place you make loot. It's a great tournament structure and many of the sites offer it. Try it and you'll probably get hooked on becoming a "Bounty Hunter"!!

I'm currently having a hard time deciding what poker site I like the best for their bounty's. Right now it's a toss up for me between my top 3 sites.

Freeroll

Got into a freeroll texas hold em tourney today. Nice for no investment but take way to long for not too much of a prize. Never lose anything though. Good day all around!

New Pre-Launch

This has nothing to do with Poker. This is kinda sorta like gambling though. I am pretty picky when it comes to new programs or stuff but this one is FREE right now and is gonna be huge. If you don't like stuff like this I don't blame you but I only do the free ones at least to start. I have (and am still) making money from some of these I started with a few years ago. Granted some are no longer in existence. It's gambling no matter how you look at it. Try it for now, It's free and if this system works they are advertising you will get money.

tourney stats

In a super long tournament and did very well. Ended up with 35 extra dollars. 3 hours though. Lots of time but placed well and won some cash so not too bad.

Gold Card Race

Was playing on Sportsbook and went up a little in a ring game. Only 3 Bucks but 3 bucks is 3 bucks. 5 minutes to burn. Just checked my gold card standings this month and come to find out I'm in the leaderboard for the gold card 500. Maybe I'll win a little free loot.
I'm loving the NFL promo they have right now. Diggin on the free points to extra tourney's.
Also Just saw they have a new free cash thing for mobile betters. I'm gonna have to look into that.

Play Stats

Did well today. Used a new system a good friend taught me last night. Went out with a 220% bank. Paul's system worked well for me today.

Deposit in Question Solved

The deposit in question has been solved. I haven't played at absolute in a minute and they deposited a "bonus" for me to play with. I have money in my acct with them. (quite a bit actually) They must miss me or something. LOL! Anyway the money is legit and no strings attached so I'm figuring It is a gift from the gambling gods. I know I will spend it in good health.

Random Account Money

I just got deposited some random money in one of my poker accounts? I haven't played with this account at all in at least six months. Apparently they are doing some random "stimulus program" to keep busy. I really have no idea but will research and report back.

Game Record

Played a few tonight. Had a little extra time cause the wife went to bed early. Good and bad, pregnancy is rough on guys and women. Best believe that, lol. Anyway lost 1 match cost me 6.60 to get in, and placed 1 on a sit and go I pocketed 20 and some change. Up about 15 all in all. Good night for 25 minutes I think. In and out of the first one quick. Went all in on 2 black aces and a heart flush took it. SAD!!!

Cashout check!!

Just got a check in the mail from a cashout I did from sportsbook. Just 200 but greatly needed at the time. Nothing like free loot in the mail for playing games when I get a minute. Now I know my time is gonna be a lot shorter. We just found out we are having kid number 2. I'm so pumped I actually went to the bank and cashed ithe check into a bond (and a little spending money for me). At least the little guy(or girl) has got a little pocket money already. lol

Found This book recently and it has made a nice difference in how I play. Make a little more. Was never a slouch but this book will defintely help the beginners and the experienced.

A Winner!!

I just won 12 bucks for 5 tokens in a sit and go!! Yay me. I love the free money from the free tokens. I'm sure it makes up for my losses. In the big picture I'm actually way ahead on sportsbook. They are the only one I ever deposited money to. The other ones I play I'm actually playing with their money still. The thing a lot of people either don't know or don't tell is that when you try to cash out bonuses from some places there are a lot of rules. Some of which are you have to deposit or playthrough requirements which are insanely difficult. I'm sure you'll hear me complain about that. Freakin playthrough requirements.

Oh well to heck with bein mad I won free money. :)

Won a little lost a lot this time I played lost 3 times what I won. Got involved in a ring game and chased bad money cause I got mad. Big note about not being mad when gambling coming up. Oh Well win some lose some, Still dont get rattled or cocky when playing because it just leads to huge mistakes.

The Reason

I'm really starting this blog to journal my own tips, things i learn and a diary of my poker playing hobby. I really love playing poker both online and off and it is getting hard to find legitimate sites online that consistently pay out. Ive been a sportsbook addict for years and have never had a problem with them.
They have always been way generous with their rewards and bonuses. Just almost a week ago they sent me 50 player tokens which are used for entry into special tournaments or redeemed for stuff from the store. I used 10 of mine in one tourney to win more but placed 4 out of 12, so no prize for me.
They have some quick no real wait tourneys called sit and go's which are nice. I hate waiting for tourneys to start especially the bigger ones. I just don't have the time. I like to sit down within five minutes of finding a game i want to play and the sit-and-go style really suits that. Nice small tables and thay have some games which run under turbo or super turbo so you get super fast blinds. Maybe I'll play a little later:)
